Life Has Come — Living in the Ageless Zone (John 5:11, Titus 1:2)

“And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.”

1 John 5:11 (NIV)

Devotional

Many people live as though life is something waiting in the future.
Someday healing will come.
Someday peace will arrive.
Someday things will finally turn.

But Scripture speaks differently.

Eternal life is not a reward postponed.
It is a gift already given.

The Bible does not say that God will give eternal life.
It says He has given it.
That life is not an idea, not a promise deferred, but a present reality —
and it is found in Christ.

Death works actively in the world around us.
We see its effects everywhere: decay, fear, exhaustion, loss.
Creation groans under it. Humanity grows weary beneath it.

Yet Scripture declares something radical —
while death works in the world, life works in you.

You are not waiting to cross into life.
You have already crossed over.

“God, who cannot lie, promised eternal life before the beginning of time.”
Titus 1:2 (NIV)

Eternal life places you in a different realm of existence.
Not outside the world — but not governed by its decay.
Not untouched by hardship — but sustained by a greater power.

You live from life, not toward it.

This changes how you speak.
How you pray.
How you face uncertainty.

You don’t ask God to bring life where it already resides.
You learn to agree with what He has already given.

Reflection

  • Where have I been waiting for “someday” instead of living from what is already mine?

  • What would change if I truly believed that life is at work in me now?

Prayer

Father,
Thank You that life is not something I chase,
but something You have placed within me.
I align my thoughts with Your truth.
I live from the life of Christ in me.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen.

Affirmation

I have passed from death to life.
Eternal life is working in me now.

I made a short video for the days when moving slowly feels hard to trust.
